Disclosure: how we make money

How Waribiki Alert makes money

• Sponsors: Businesses can pay for a featured placement or a newsletter slot. Every paid placement is labelled 広告/Sponsored or PR. Sponsors can't change how we describe other deals or government programs.
• Affiliate links: Some links (e.g. eSIM, luggage storage, tours, hotels) are affiliate links. They are marked "(affiliate)" or PR. We may earn a commission; your price is the same.
• Government and prefecture discounts: We are never paid by prefectures or agencies for listing their programs, and we are not affiliated with them.
• Editorial rule: A deal is listed only if we can verify it on an official source.

We are not a travel agency

Waribiki Alert is an information service. We don't arrange, book, broker or take payment for transport, accommodation or tours, and we are not a registered travel agency (旅行業者). Bookings are made directly between you and the provider. Sponsor fees are payment for advertising space only.
